Loved the snorkeling trip in Maui aboard the Pride of Maui this summer. We had a blast and got to explore the underwater treasures of Maui. Hope to go back next year!

Vacation owenership at it's finest! You will not find a better value than the Westin Kaanapali Resort, the grounds are fabulous, the pool is amazing and the beach is the best. We snorkeled on several different beaches but found the beach righ off the Westin Resort to be the best.

Hawaii's original indoor miniature golf course complete with neon colors and black lights. The place is pretty cool and the kids love it! Kids of all ages will love this place it doesn't matter if they are 2 or 22 they will have fun here.

Crazy Shirts is a chain business but they really have great shirts! Lots of cool designs and good quality shirts, we always finds shirts that we love here. They make a great gift to take home or a great gift for yourself. Check them out I think you will be glad you did.

This is a the best place for t-shirts and other kid friendly items. They have a great selection of really cute kid clothing, nice adult t-shirts and very friendly staff. If you are in Lahina make sure you check them out, you will be glad you did.

There are many whale watching tours throughout West and South Maui, but why not go with those who are the most knowledgeable and economical? Not to mention this company is a non-profit organization and your ticket money goes directly to funding research on the preservation of these amazing animals, as opposed lining the pockets of a tour operator? For as low as $20 the Pacific Whale Foundation will take you out for 2 hours for a humpback whale watching adventure. They have a fleet of vessels that depart throughout the whole day everyday, but take my suggestion and book on the smallest boat you can. This makes for a more up close viewing experience as opposed to the larger boats in the fleet. The best time of year to go whale watching off the coast of Maui is in the winter months when the whales migrate to the warm waters for flirting with the ladies, competing with rival males and what looks like maybe just to have some fun. February is truly the peak with the highest whale activity. Humpback whales are seen literally everywhere. Blowing water in the air, splashing about, breaching (jumping out of the water) and even slapping their giant tails on the surface of the water. The staff at PWF is very friendly and knowledgable. Most are marine biologists or those with degrees in eco-tourism. I think it would be next to impossible to stump one of the guides with a question. They also offer cocktails and beers if you are into that like I am. The boats, staff and experience are all first rate. And all this for $20 a person when it goes to a good cause? Ther is no better choice. Check out my videos from my last outing with PWF. A yearling calf came up to our boat to curiously investigate us when moments later Mom showed up and put herself between us and her calf in an effort to steer the calf away from danger. This experience happened literally 2 feet off the stern of our boat. The tremendously close encounter moved several people so deeply they began crying. (strange?) Our guides stated they had never seen such an encounter as close and impressive, not during their tenure with Pacific Whale Foundation anyway. The law states that no vessel can come within 100 yards of a humpback whale, but the whales don't know this law so the whales that day were not charged with any criminal offenses.

I eat at Sansei several times a year. Well, every time I'm in Maui anyway. You have to love Aloha airline's $150 each way out of California but that's another review. Sansei has changed locations and is up in Kapalua now near the Ritz Carlton. The location is better, the place is more "hip" and happening and honestly the location now better fits the restaurant's persona. The sushi is arguably the best on the island. The Hyatt has a decent bar but that's completely different. Sansei has imaginative sushi and the fish itself is top notch! The service varies, but is usually good. On a "locals" night, (which I believe is Thursdays?) they have half off sushi and the place fills up with surfy types and hot women. Oops, that's not important here...They also have karaoke which is a riot. If you're visiting on vacation this locals / specials night is a nice change as hotel restaurants can get little dry and boring after a while. This is a fun energetic alternative. If you are visiting Maui do not miss this one. If you live there you already know this place is the best!

A little bit on the touristy side but fun non the less. Good burgers, no great but good and the atmosphere was fun, I would recommend it, it was fun and good place for a family dinner.
